Description: Gehlen Catholic School is seeking a mission-driven Director of Student Services to provide leadership and coordination of PK–12 student-support programming, including 504 plans, IEPs, ISPs, MTSS, interventions, special education collaboration, and student-welfare systems.
Qualifications: Valid Iowa teaching license with special education endorsement, strategist II endorsement, and a minimum of five years of experience working directly with students.

Bus Drivers

Description: Drivers needed for AM north route, PM north route, and/or evening activities.
Qualifications: Pass an online background check; complete online Virtus training; obtain a Class A or B CDL; Passenger School Bus, and Air Brakes endorsements; pass a pre-trip inspection; and complete a 14-hour online course within the first six months of hire. Assistance is available to help determine where and how to complete these trainings.
Assistant Director of Maintenance & Transportation

Description: Gehlen Catholic School is seeking a dependable and service-oriented individual to assist in overseeing campus maintenance, grounds, and daily transportation operations. This role supports the safety, functionality, and efficiency of school facilities and vehicles while working collaboratively with staff and administration. Responsibilities include assisting with facility upkeep, coordinating transportation needs, and supporting fleet maintenance and compliance.
Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old, possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements, and pass a DOT physical and drug screening.

Description: Gehlen Catholic School is seeking a full-time paraprofessional to support the TK classroom for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will support classroom instruction and student learning by assisting teachers with academic, behavioral, and supervision responsibilities. Qualifications: Candidate must have a high school diploma or a GED. An associate’s degree or paraeducator certification is preferred, along with previous experience in an educational environment.
